Title: ‘Together in Motion’
Artist: Future Cultures
Installed: 2026
Together in Motion celebrates Richmond’s vibrant sporting and cultural precinct through a dynamic contemporary artwork that captures the energy of movement and shared experiences. Through this artwork, Lucy Lucy and Katira (Future Cultures) create a welcoming experience that celebrates diversity, fosters connection and highlights the power of sport and culture to bring people together.
A diverse cast of athletes, musicians, spectators and commuters reflects the many communities that converge in this iconic destination. Warm tones inspired by Australia’s vivid sunsets, together with stylised gum trees woven throughout the composition, evoke a strong sense of place and the unique character of Melbourne.
