Service Changes

This page provides information about disruptions; how to plan for them, what to be aware of and how to stay informed.

Train Replacement Buses and Alternative transport

At times of planned disruptions buses will replace trains. Alternative transport is provided to assist passengers with accessibility needs to reach their destination. To find out more about accessibility during specific planned disruptions contact PTV on 1800 800 007 or ptv.vic.gov.au/plan/disruptions/ or go to metrotrains.com.au/planned-works/

Mobility aids on replacement services

In the event of disruptions, not all bus and coach services are accessible. In the event that this impacts your journey we will make alternative travel arrangements for you, as long as your mobility aid meets the dimension requirements and can be safely secured in an alternative mode of transport.

For further information on mobility aid specifications visit Mobility aid specifications – Public Transport Victoria (ptv.vic.gov.au)
If there are planned disruptions impacting your journey and you would like to discuss your needs prior to travel, please call 1800 800 007 (6am-midnight).
