Services on this line will run direct to/from Flinders St (and not via the City Loop) all weekend due to maintenance works in the City Loop. If you are travelling to/from a City Loop station, please change trains at Flinders St.

While track improvement works take place in the City Loop, trains will run direct to and from Flinders Street, not via the City Loop on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 February.

TO CITY
Pakenham, Cranbourne, Frankston and Sandringham line trains will travel direct from Richmond to Flinders Street and not via the City Loop.

  • To Southern Cross
    Customers for Southern Cross will need to change trains at Flinders Street and catch a Belgrave, Lilydale, Glen Waverley, Werribee, Craigieburn, Sunbury or Upfield, line service. Please check the monitors at Flinders Street for the next available train.
  • To City Loop
    Customers for Flagstaff, Melbourne Central or Parliament will need to change trains at Flinders Street and catch a Belgrave, Lilydale or Glen Waverley, line service. These trains depart Flinders Street from platforms 2 & 3.

    FROM CITY

  • From Southern Cross
    Passengers will need to catch a Belgrave, Lilydale or Glen Waverley train from platform 10 and change trains at Richmond.
  • From City Loop
    Customers travelling from Flagstaff, Melbourne Central or Parliament should catch a Belgrave, Lilydale or Glen Waverley train from platform 4 and change trains at Richmond.
  • From Flinders Street
    Pakenham, Cranbourne, Frankston and Sandringham line trains will run to the normal weekend timetables.

    Note: Customers wishing to travel from Southern Cross to Flinders Street will need to catch a tram from Collins Street.

Trains depart Richmond after the match, as follows:

28 January 2016 - 13 March 2016

We are upgrading the toilets at Richmond Station as part of our station improvement works program. During this time, the toilets will be closed and temporary toilets will be available.

WHEN IS THIS OCCURING?
These works will take place from Thursday 28 January until Sunday 13 March.

HOW WILL THIS AFFECT ME?
During this time:

  • Temporary toilets are available opposite the main ticket office
  • The wheelchair accessible toilets will remain open
  • For your safety, please observe any signage and instructions by our workers

We thank you for your patience while we improve Richmond Station.
