Due to works as part of the Hurstbridge Rail Line Upgrade Project, there will be partial temporary long-term and short-term closures of station car parks in and around stations on the Hurstbridge Line.

Heidelberg Station

As part of works to duplicate the track between Heidelberg and Rosanna stations, approximately 50 long term car space closures are planned in the Heidelberg Station main car park.

WHEN IS THIS OCCURRING?
The car park will be partially closed from Friday 21 April and will reopen in April 2018.

HOW WILL THIS AFFECT ME?
The Burgundy Street car park entrance will be closed and customers will be required to enter the station car park via the Bell-Banksia Link entrance.

Alternative customer parking will be provided within a 12 minute walk during the partial car park closure. To see map of alternative parking spaces, click here.

Watsonia Station

While works take place as part of the Hurstbridge Rail Line Upgrade, the Watsonia Station car park will be upgraded to create a train replacement bus interchange and used as a temporary bus interchange for train replacement bus services during planned disruptions on the Hurstbridge line.

WHEN IS THIS OCCURRING?
The car park will be partially closed from:

  • From 1am Monday 3 – 6pm Thursday 20 April – 24 car spaces CLOSED
  • From 10pm Thursday 20 – 6pm Tuesday 25 April – 100 car spaces CLOSED
  • From 10pm Wednesday 26 – midday Friday 28 April – 50 car spaces CLOSED

HOW WILL THIS AFFECT ME?
During the above dates, there will be reduced car parking in the Watsonia Station car park.
Customers are encouraged to consider alternative transport to the station during this period.
Please observe all safety signage and instructions put in place by our workers.
