White Night 2016

Metro is running services all through the night and the City Loop will also be open all night.

Dedicated transport hubs will be located around the city where you can access other modes of transport such as tram, bus and taxi services. These hubs are clearly marked on the map, download the map.

Please note that a ‘one-way system’ will be in effect at Flinders Street Station from 6pm to midnight to give priority to customers exiting the station.

Trains will operate to the following frequencies throughout the night:

8pm – 11pm

Every 15 minutes on the following lines:

  • Belgrave
  • Craigieburn
  • Frankston
  • Glen Waverley
  • Hurstbridge
  • Lilydale
  • Pakenham
  • South Morang
  • Sunbury
  • Werribee
  • Williamstown

Every 20 minutes on the following line:

  • Sandringham

Every 30 minutes on the following lines:

  • Alamein (train shuttle between Camberwell – Alamein)
  • Cranbourne (train shuttle between Dandenong – Cranbourne)
  • Upfield

11pm – 3.30am

Every 30 minutes on all lines, stopping at all stations.

3.30am – 6.30am

Night Network timetable to commence via the City Loop.

Every 60 minutes on all lines, stopping at all stations.
