Metro Training Zone

We’re proud to support the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA), taking part in the Field of Women event on Sunday 12 August before the Melbourne Demons takes on Sydney Swans for Round 21 in the AFL home and away season.

The Metro Training Zone will be open in the BCNA Family Festival located between gates 2-3 from 11am. Come down to practice your kicking and specky skills and don’t miss out on collecting your very own personalised footy card!

PLUS two lucky families will win tickets for 4 into the Metro Trains corporate box, with all food and beverages provided, as well as outstanding views to the game! For terms and conditions, click here.

You could also meet some your favourite footy legends. Meet Matthew Richardson and Melbourne AFLW stars Katherine Smith, Lily Mithen and Kate Hore.

The Field of Women raises awareness and much-needed funds for BCNA to continue its work supporting Australians affected by breast cancer. The Field of Women urges Australians to “Stand With me at the ‘G’’. Family activities will commence in Yarra Park outside the MCG from 11.00 am, with a gold coin donation for activities going directly to BCNA.

In 2018, it is estimated that 18,235 Australians will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Our aim is to have this number represented by women, men and children standing together in the shape of BCNA’s Pink Lady.

As well as raising awareness by bringing breast cancer statistics to life, Field of Women also reminds women, men and families affected by breast cancer they are not alone.
