31 July	Due to track improvement works, buses will replace trains between Mordialloc and Frankston after approximately 8.15pm on Saturday 31 July and 7 August, Sunday 1 and 8 August and weeknights Monday 2 to Monday 9 August.

28 April	New Metro timetable to deliver 211 new and extended services Metro will introduce 211 additional and extended weekly services as part of a new timetable to start from Sunday 6 June.
10 February	Metro releases January performance results Metro has reached its delivery target for January with 98.3% of 48,343 scheduled services for the month being run. On-time performance for January fell below the 88% minimum target, with 86.9% of trains running on time to four minutes and 59 seconds. Metro will pay customer compensation for falling below the punctuality target.
20 January	Metro welcomes new Minister to the helm Metro Trains today welcomed the appointment of Martin Pakula as Minister for Public Transport. Applying fresh, proven engineering solutions to old problems will be key and Metro will be working with the Department of Transport and the new Minister to identify funding priorities for rail upgrades and maintenance works.
