North Williamstation Station is closed to allow for the construction of a rail line under the road, making way for a new North Williamstown Station and an upgraded precinct for the community to enjoy.

While the station is closed trains will not stop at North Williamstown Station. Shuttle buses will run between Newport and Williamstown Beach stations, connecting passengers to Williamstown Line trains. A shuttle bus timetable is available on the website under Planned Works, Bus Replacement.
