Buses replace trains between Camberwell and Box Hill

8.30pm Friday 17 February to 6am Saturday 25 February

As part of the Mont Albert Road and Union Road level crossing removal project, the final major construction blitz will start early next year and by mid-2023, the two dangerous and congested level crossings will be gone for good, and the new Union Station will be open.

Bicycles, surfboards and dogs are not allowed on train replacement buses. Exceptions apply for assistance animals.

To get you to and from your destination as quickly and easily as possible, additional express buses will operate between Camberwell and Blackburn in both directions during weekday peak hours (6am to 9am and 3pm to 7pm).

To get you to and from your destination as quickly and easily as possible, additional express buses will operate between Ringwood and Parliament in both directions on weekdays (6am to 9am and 3pm to 7pm).
Mont Albert passengers:
A shuttle bus service will operate for passengers travelling to and from Mont Albert. This shuttle bus will connect with train replacement bus services at Surrey Hills. Passengers wanting to travel to Camberwell Station will need to get off the shuttle bus service at Canterbury Road, Surrey Hills to catch a train replacement bus to Camberwell Station.
