Bell Station opening
First service Monday 5 September
The brand-new Bell and Preston stations open on Monday 5 September.
Bell station opens with new facilities including myki gates and soon to open lifts, toilet facilities, waiting room, Parkiteer bicycle cage, bike hoops and Protective Service Officers (PSO) pod.
While you catch the train, you may notice some ongoing works as we put the finishing touches on the new stations at Bell and Preston.
Works continue:
Works will continue around the station precinct in September 2022. There will be no lift access to the Bell Station platforms until October 2022. During this period, a shuttle bus will run from Bell Station to Preston and Thurnbury stations for passengers who need lift access to the platforms. New open spaces and shared use paths will be ready for locals to enjoy in 2023.
