Bell and Preston Stations closed

Monday 30 May to 9pm Friday 26 August

Bell and Preston stations will be closed from Monday 30 May to 9pm Friday 26 August, due to level crossing removal works.

While the stations are closed, trains will not stop at Bell and Preston stations. Shuttle buses will run between Thornbury and Reservoir stations to connect passengers to Mernda line trains.

The temporary facilities at Preston Station, including the Metro Customer Service Office,
toilets, myki machines and myki readers will remain open.

None of the station facilities at Bell Station will be available during this time.

Shuttle buses:
The shuttle bus will run at a frequency of 7 minutes from 6am-9am and 4pm-7pm Monday to Friday, and 20 minutes all other times and days.
Minor temporary timetable changes to the Mernda Line

On weekdays, there will be minor changes to the Mernda Line train timetable from Monday 30 May to 9pm Friday 26 August due to works on the Mernda Line.

Trains are running on a single track between Thornbury and Regent stations, requiring temporary changes to the Mernda and Hurstbridge line weekday timetables.

Bell and Preston stations are closed while works to complete the new rail bridges continue.
