Holiday travel tips
Please be safe around trains this festive season. Customers with prams are reminded to use brakes and tether straps, keep parallel to the tracks on platforms and board at the front of the train. When boarding, have the pram in front of you and when exiting a train, step out first and pull the pram out behind you, rear wheels first.
Customers travelling with young kids, and anyone else needing assistance, should remember that staff are there to help to move everyone through the myki barriers.
During times of hot weather it’s important to keep hydrated in the heat, so consider travelling with a bottle of water.
Free travel days
Please note that public transport will be free across Victoria on Christmas Day and after 6pm on New Year’s Eve. More information can be found at ptv.vic.gov.au

This New Year’s Eve in addition to the normal Sunday timetable, there will be extra services from 7pm on all lines and trains will be running all night to get you safely to and from your celebrations in and around the city.
