Mernda (Works Alert) –

Buses replace trains on sections of the Mernda line from 9pm Tuesday 17 May to last train Sunday 29 May, while project works take place.

From first train Thursday 19 May to 9pm:

Buses replace trains between Parliament/Clifton Hill and Reservoir.

Replacement buses will operate:

  • E1: Parliament – Reservoir, express.
  • L1: Parliament – Bell, then stopping all stations to Reservoir.
    • Note: L1 operate during peak hours only (6am to 9am and 3pm to 7pm).
  • L2: Parliament – Clifton Hill, then stopping all stations to Reservoir.

Passengers travelling between the City and Clifton Hill are advised to take a Hurstbridge train during this time.

From 9pm Thursday 19 May to last train:

Buses replace trains between Parliament/Clifton Hill and Reservoir.

Replacement buses will operate:

  • L1: Parliament – Reservoir, express, then stopping all stations to Mernda.
  • L2: Parliament – Clifton Hill, express, then stopping all stations to Mernda.

Passengers travelling between the City and Clifton Hill are advised to take a Clifton Hill or Hurstbridge train during this time.

Allow extra travel time.

Replacement buses are subject to local traffic conditions.
