Ringwood Station and Interchange Upgrade Project

The Ringwood Station and Interchange Upgrade is progressing steadily, and the project is reaching some key milestones, including the installation of lifts and escalators, and the opening of the new bus interchange.

Current works taking place at Ringwood include:

New Myki Barriers

From Saturday 24 October, entry to Platform 3 at Ringwood Station will be via new myki barriers installed at the eastern end of the station building.

Customer service staff will be available to help customers touch on and off through the new barriers.

Bus Interchange Opening

From Thursday 29 October, all Ringwood buses will arrive and depart from the new bus interchange. Please check signage at the interchange for your bus stop location.

Station Street Car Park Reopening

The car park on Station St will re-open for commuter parking on Saturday 31 October. Access to the station will be via the shared user path.

Disability Permit parking spaces will be available on Station St next to the station entrance. Access to the station from the Disability Permit parking spaces is available via ramp.

Upcoming works include:

  • Refurbishment of the station buildings will be completed providing modern and upgraded facilities for station staff.
  • The footpaths and roadside curbs on Station Street will be improved. This will provide safer access and use for pedestrians.
  • The new station forecourt will be completed. The new forecourt will be vibrant and accessible with improved safety features including additional lighting and CCTV.
