Rosanna Station closure

Key Information

From 8.30pm Friday 6 October
Friday 6 October 2017 - Saturday 31 March 2018

While works take place as part of the Hurstbridge Rail Line Upgrade, Rosanna Station will be temporarily closed, reopening in March 2018.

During this time, trains run express through the closed station and replacement buses operate express between Heidelberg and Macleod stations. A shuttle service will operate between Heidelberg, Rosanna and Macleod stations.

Please note that this may increase your journey by up to 20 minutes.

Exit Heidelberg Station and proceed to bus interchange, located in front of the Heidelberg Station entrance between Mount and Yarra Streets. Exit Heidelberg Station and proceed to bus interchange, located in front of the Heidelberg Station entrance between Mount and Yarra Streets.

Exit Rosanna Station on to Turnham Avenue, turn left and proceed to bus stop. Exit Rosanna Station and cross Turnham Avenue with caution, proceed to bus stop on left.

Birdwood Avenue, Macleod Station Entrance Birdwood Avenue, Macleod Station Entrance
Exit Macleod Station on to Birdwood Avenue and proceed to Metro designated bus stop on left, located in front of station entrance. Exit Macleod Station on to Birdwood Avenue and proceed to Metro designated bus stop on right, located in front of station entrance.

Please note in accordance with the Victorian Fares & Ticketing Manual 2017, bicycles, surfboards and dogs are not permitted to travel on buses. An exception exists for guide dogs, hearing guide dogs, guide dogs in training, animals identified by an Assistance Animal Pass and small animals if they are suitably contained.
