Lift upgrade works at Flagstaff & Parliament stations.
Tuesday 3 January - Sunday 12 March 2017
In order to provide safer and more reliable access to platforms we are currently upgrading the lifts at Flagstaff and Parliament stations. During this time there will be no lift access at these stations, however escalators will continue to remain in operation as normal.
Disembarking at Flagstaff or Parliament stations For customers requiring lift access and wishing to disembark at either of these stations, please travel to Melbourne Central Station where a maxi taxi will be provided to either Flagstaff or Parliament stations for your onward journey. Customer service staff are available to assist you at the concourse on arrival at Melbourne Central Station.
Boarding at Flagstaff or Parliament stations For customers requiring lift access upon arrival to catch a train at Flagstaff or Parliament stations, staff are available on street level to arrange a maxi taxi to take you to Melbourne Central Station where lifts continue to provide access to the platforms.
Customers are advised to press the red help button if a staff member cannot be located and further assistance is required.
Lift access remains available at Flinders Street, Melbourne Central and Southern Cross stations.
Customers travelling to or from Parliament Station may wish to consider the following trams that service Southern Cross Station:
