Glen Waverley line works completed

A big thanks to all the Glen Waverley line customers for their patience during the July upgrade works.  With the works now complete, it's sure to be a smoother and more reliable service on the Glen Waverley line.  The works that were completed along the line were:

•    Replacement of wooden sleepers with new concrete sleepers
•    Relaying of fresh asphalt and line markings of level crossings at Toorak and Tooronga roads.
•    Upgrading of the signals and point machines at various sections along the line.

By undertaking such significant works continuously during the month of July the likelihood of unplanned disruptions has been greatly reduced.

Thanks again  to all the customers and residents along the Glen Waverley line for their patience while this maintenance was carried out, it's all part of making Metro better for Melbourne.
