22 March 2015 - 16 April 2015

We are undertaking re-railing works between Burnley and Camberwell stations. These works are essential to ensure the ongoing safety and efficiency of the network.

CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
These track works are scheduled to take place each night between 10pm and 6am commencing Sunday 22 March and continuing through until Thursday 16 April. Continuous weekend works are also scheduled between 10pm Friday 3 April and 6am Monday 6 April.

We will endeavour to minimise the amount of time required for night works at each location along the line.

These track works are expected to be completed by 6am Thursday 16 April.

HOW WILL THIS AFFECT ME?
Due to the nature of the works and heavy machinery required including excavators, loaders and trucks, medium – high level construction noise may be experienced. Where required, audible track safety measures may also be deployed to warn train drivers of work taking place on the line ahead.

To minimise construction impacts, the Metro team and our contractors will aim to reduce excessive noise and will make every effort to minimise disturbance to residents.

Lighting towers will be installed near work sites and will be directed away from residents where possible.

While we will make every effort to complete works within these time frames, some activities may need to be rescheduled in the event of bad weather or other unavoidable circumstances.

We thank you in advance for your understanding during these works.

FURTHER INFORMATION
For further information, please contact PTV on 1800 800 007 (6am–midnight, 7 days) and quote “Burnley to Camberwell Track Work”.
