More trains for AFL NAB Cup Final
Saturday 13 March

We are running extra trains for fans to get to and from the AFL NAB Cup final between Western Bulldogs and St Kilda on Saturday 13 March.

Before the game there will be additional trains to Southern Cross Station from: 

Upper Ferntree Gully departing 5.47pm (stopping all stations except East Richmond via Flinders Street)
Pakenham depating 5.00pm (stopping all stations via City Loop)
Frankston departing 5.23pm (stopping all stations to Malvern, then express to South Yarra - then stopping all stations via City Loop)

After the game there will be additional trains from Southern Cross to:

Epping departing platform 9 (stopping all stations via Flinders Street)
Greensborough departing platform 9 (stopping all stations via Flinders Street)
Upper Ferntree Gully departing platforms 10 (stopping all stations except East Richmond via City Loop)
Glen Waverley departing platform 10 (stopping all stations via City Loop)
Pakenham departing platform 13 (stopping all stations via Flinders Street)
Frankston departing platform 13 (stopping all stations via Flinders Street)
Sandringham departing platform 13 (stopping all stations via Flinders Street)
Werribee departing platform 12

Network Improvements - Sydenham line

Please note: Due to improvement works, buses will replace train services after 9pm between Footscray and Watergardens stations.

Special trains for Blamey Stakes 
Saturday 13 March

We will run special trains to Flemington for the Blamey Stakes VRC race day on Saturday 13 March.

Race trains will leave Flinders Street platform 9 every 14 - 17 minutes from 10.31am until 1.31pm.

These trains will stop at Southern Cross on platform 14, North Melbourne on platform 6 and will then run express to Flemington Racecourse.

Return trains to the city will depart Flemington Racecourse at:

4.32pm
5.06pm
5.26pm
5.45pm
6.00pm
6.15pm
6.26pm
6.46pm

These trains will run express to North Melbourne and then stop at Southern Cross and Flinders Street.
