Service Commitments

From 30 November 2009, a world class consortium called Metro Trains Melbourne will operate Metro and will work to create a modern metro-style train service.

The first priority will be to get the basics right – providing customers with clean, safe and reliable train services.

Metro promises a fresh approach to getting the absolute best performance out of existing rail assets while at the same time, readying the network for patronage growth, an increased number of trains and continued future infrastructure investment.

Customer service is a top priority for Metro and a series of customer services commitments have been made.
